DescriptionE.coli FastMedia™ is a unique premixed, pre-sterilized microwaveable LB medium supplemented with ampicillin. It is ideal for preparation of either liquid or solid LB medium, with or without IPTG and X-Gal. The FastMedia™ is packaged in individual pouches each containing ingredients sufficient for 200 ml of liquid culture medium or for preparation of 8-10 standard 100 mm agar plates. Liquid medium and the plates can be prepared in 5 min or 20 min, respectively.
Quality ControlEach lot of FastMedia™ has been tested in E.coli growth efficiency, antibiotic activity and blue/white screening.
