Description
PyroStart™ Fast PCR Master Mix (2X) is designed for fast, specific, sensitive and reproducible PCR. It is a proprietary formulation of a chemically-modified hot start Taq DNA Polymerase, specifically designed for fast reactivation. The PyroStart™ Fast PCR Master Mix (2X) has been optimized to reduce PCR time to just 25 minutes (see Table below). This results in considerable time savings and more efficient use of PCR instruments for high-throughput screening. The master mix is supplied as a 2X concentrated solution, that contains hot start Taq DNA polymerase, dNTPs and all other PCR components, except DNA template and primers. The PyroStart™ Fast PCR Master Mix (2X) can be used with conventional PCR machines.

Quality Control
The absence of endodeoxyribonucleases, exodeoxyribonucleases and ribonucleases is confirmed by appropriate quality tests. Functionally tested in amplification of a single-copy genes from human genomic DNA.

Rapid amplification of DNA fragments of different lengths and GC contents with PyroStart™ Fast PCR Master Mix (2X).
5ng of human genomic DNA were used as a template in 35 cycles of PCR on GeneAmp® 9700 PCR System.

PyroStart™ Fast PCR Master Mix (2X) was used to amplify the target from human DNA in 25 zero-cycles on the GeneAmp® 9700 system. Cycling conditions: 95°C, 60s; 95°C, 0s, 65°C, 0s; 25 cycles; 72°C, 10s.
