Features
- Convenient - Fermentas recombinant Taq DNA Polymerase in a ready-to-use mix.
- Fast -saves time due to reduced number of pipetting steps.
- Reproducible -lower contamination and pipetting error risk.
- Compatible with TA cloning - generates PCR products with 3'-dA overhangs.
Description
PCR Master Mix (2X) is a 2X concentrated solution of Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs and all the components required for PCR, except DNA template and primers. This pre-mixed formulation saves time and reduces contamination due to a reduced number of pipetting steps required for PCR set up. The mix is optimized for efficient and reproducible PCR.Applications
- High throughput PCR.
- Routine PCR with high reproducibility.
- Generation of PCR products for TA cloning.
- RT-PCR.
Quality Control
The absence of endodeoxyribonucleases, exodeoxyribonucleases and ribonucleases is confirmed by appropriate quality tests. Functionally tested in amplification of a single-copy gene from human genomic DNA.Composition of the Master Mix
- 0.05 u/µl Taq DNA Polymerase (recombinant)
- reaction buffer
- 4 mM MgCl2
- 0.4 mM of each dNTP (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP).
Stability of PCR Master Mix (2X). Amplification of 950 bp single copy gene from 0.1 µg human genomic DNA using PCR Master Mix (2X) in 50 µl reaction mixture.
M - GeneRuler™ 100 bp Plus DNA Ladder;
1 - PCR product generated with 1.25 u of Taq DNA Polymerase (recombinant);
2 - PCR product generated with PCR Master Mix (2X) (stored at -20°C);
3 - PCR product generated with PCR Master Mix (2X) (after 15 freeze-thaw cycles).
