Aminoallyl-UTP (5-[3-aminoallyl]-uridine-5'-triphosphate) is supplied as a 50 mM aqueous solution at pH 7.0.General Characteristics
Absorbance maximum at 240nm, extinction coefficient - 11.9x103 M-1 x cm-1 (pH 7.0);
Absorbance maximum at 290nm, extinction coefficient - 7.8x103 M-1 x cm-1 (pH 7.0).
Features
- Can be incorporated into RNA by T3, T7 or SP6 RNA Polymerases.
- The resulting amine-containing RNA can be subsequently labeled with amine-reactive fluorescent dyes or haptens, resulting in uniform high density labeling of RNA.
Application
- Enzymatic indirect non-radioactive labeling of RNA by in vitro transcription.
Quality Control
- Functionally tested in transcription reaction with T7 RNA Polymerase.
- Purity of >96% by HPLC.
- Endo-, exodeoxyribonuclease, ribonuclease and phosphatase free.
