DNA purification from whole blood
with Genomic DNA Purification KitDescription
The Genomic DNA Purification Kit provides a simple and rapid method for high quality genomic DNA purification from various sources: whole blood, serum, cell cultures, bacteria, plant and mammalian tissues, as well as from epithelial samples. The kit is based on selective DNA precipitation from crude lysates using detergents. The entire procedure takes only 20-25 minutes. The typical yield of genomic DNA is 2-10 µg from 0.2 ml of blood. The purified high molecular weight genomic DNA is suitable for direct use in all common molecular biology applications: PCR, restriction digestion, cloning, DNA sequencing and Southern blot analysis.Applications
Purification of high-quality genomic DNA from whole blood, serum, cell culture, plant and mammalian tissues, epithelium samples and bacteria.Quality Control
The kit is tested in purification of genomic DNA from 0.2 ml of human blood. The typical yield of DNA is 2-10 µg. The quality of purified DNA is evaluated in restriction digestion and in PCR amplification of a single-copy gene.Components of the Kit
- Lysis Solution
- Precipitation Solution
- NaCl Solution
